On December 13, 2021, an unusual concert took place at the Polish Theater in Warsaw, organized by the Institute of National Remembrance.
"Here, on the Vistula River, freedom is part of the Polish national genotype. Whenever people wanted to take it from us, we were ready to fight for it. It was the same after December 13" - said the President of the Institute of National Remembrance, Dr. Karol Nawrocki, announcing the concert.

It was a musical story about one of the darkest periods in the history of the Polish People's Republic. Outstanding Polish artists such as Justyna Steczkowska, Kasia Moś and Janusz Radek took viewers on a journey to the past 40 years ago, when the communist authorities decided to completely destroy the great social movement that was "Solidarity".
Each of the songs was sung in new arrangements, thanks to which the concert artistically bonded contemporary times with the last decade of the Polish People's Republic. The repertoire of the concert led the audience through the songs of the 1980s, which faithfully reflect the mood of those days, full of anxiety, harsh and difficult life, but also tell about the incredible strength of a man to fight for his freedom.
The concert was broadcast live on TV, on the IPNtv channel and in social media.
